How the Sign-Up Actually Works
When people type “Casino Niagara sign up” into search, most are expecting a full online registration, maybe even a place to deposit and start playing from home. That is not what this is. Casino Niagara runs a physical, on-site loyalty program called Momentum, and to get in, you actually have to go there. No app to download, no email form to fill, no upfront payment. I literally walked in, went up to Level 2, found the Momentum Desk, showed my government photo ID proving I was at least 19, and a staff member created the account on the spot. I was finished in roughly ten minutes, maybe even a bit less.
The property sits at 5705 Falls Ave., Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6T3. The casino operates 24/7, so I did not have to think about opening hours or cutting it close. For a tourist-heavy spot, that constant access is actually one of the things that makes it easier to fit into a trip.
The flow I followed was basically this:
- Walk into Casino Niagara and make your way to Level 2, close to the Poker Room area.
- Show valid government-issued photo ID that confirms you are 19 or older.
- Go through your basic contact details with the agent and accept the program terms.
- Get your physical Momentum card, already linked to your new account.
- Ask the person at the desk what the current new-member offer is, or check casinoniagara.com/events-and-promotions/promotions/new-member-offer.html before you head out.
- Insert or present the card at slots and table games so you start earning Status Points and Momentum Dollars.
Membership itself is free. There is no signup charge, and they did not hit me with a random fee later either.
One thing I always do with loyalty setups, including this one: I ask about the welcome deal before I place a single bet. The conditions shift around, and the staff at the desk usually tell you straight what is available right now. Doing it after you have played feels like leaving money on the table.
Managing Your Account Through My Momentum
Once the in-person part is done, there is a basic online section called My Momentum that lets you keep an eye on your rewards without being on the property. The login page sits at casinoniagara.com/login.html. When I signed in after my visit, it looked bare-bones but functional: simple layout, not much visual noise, and definitely not a gaming platform. I treat it as a tracker, nothing more.
Inside My Momentum I could:
- Check how many Momentum Dollars I had banked.
- See which promotions were currently tied to my account.
- Look up my present status tier.
- Open the “My Promos and Offers” area to view anything live on my profile.
That is basically the limit. There is not much beyond that feature set. If your card gets lost, or the account suddenly behaves strangely, this portal will not fix it on its own. You are back to traditional support: either call 1.888.325.5788 or walk back over to the Momentum Desk. The official site does not confirm any live chat option, which, in my view, feels like a pretty big missing piece.
For Win/Loss Statements, the contact point is Casino Finance at (905) 374-6928 x24102, or you can go straight to any Cage Cashier on the floor and handle it there. For more general questions about the property, the main phone number is (905) 353-7000.
The Momentum program is tied in with Fallsview Casino Resort too, so your offers and rewards can sometimes be handled through the VIP Services Desk at that property as well. I found that handy to keep in mind if you tend to split your time between both casinos instead of sticking to one.
What You Are Actually Earning
Momentum runs on two reward types that move alongside each other. Status Points measure your play and decide which membership tier you fall into. You cannot spend them directly. Momentum Dollars are the currency that acts like a balance you can use.
| Reward Type | How It Works | Where It Can Be Used |
|---|---|---|
| Status Points | Earned through play; set your tier | Tier qualification only |
| Momentum Dollars | Earned through play; like credit | Dining, hotel stays, Free Play, select retail |
| Free Play | Credited to your account | Casino floor only |
| Complimentary Parking | Offered to qualified members | Casino Niagara parking facility |
Momentum Dollars reach further than just spins or hands on the main floor. You can use them at participating hotels and at certain stores and restaurants in the Fallsview Galleria. That gave the whole program a bit more real-world weight for me, since it is not just about extra play but also about meals or stays you would probably pay for anyway.
The new-member offer sits on top as a separate promo for people who enroll for the first time. The fine print and amounts move around regularly, so I do not rely on any third-party breakdowns for that part at all. The only sources I trust there are the official promotions page or an actual conversation with the desk when I show up.
